2. Joseph Wilson was born about 1734 in Antrim Shire, Ulster, North Ireland and died on Nov 7, 1838 in Sevier Co., Tennessee about age 104.

Joseph married Mary Sears in 1746 in North Carolina. Mary was born in 1746 in Hampshire, Virginia and died in 1772 in Sevier Co., Tennessee at age 26.

   6 M    i. James Wilson was born in 1754 in Augusta Co., Virginia and died in Mar 1793 at age 39.

   7 M    ii. Adam Wilson was born in 1756 in North Carolina and died in 1768 in Dickson, Tennessee at age 12.

   8 M    iii. Robert Wilson was born in 1758 in Pendleton, West Virginia and died on Mar 10, 1813 in Morgan, Alabama at age 55.

   9 M    iv. Thomas Wilson was born in 1760 in North Carolina and died in 1770 at age 10.

   10 F    v. Jean Wilson was born in 1762 in North Carolina and died in 1786 at age 24.

   11 M    vi. John Henderson Wilson was born in 1770 in Mick, North Carolina.

   12 M    vii. Isaac Wilson was born in 1773 in Augusta Co., Virginia and died on Nov 11, 1852 in Knox Co., Tennessee at age 79.

   13 M    viii. Miles M. Wilson was born in 1773 in Mecklenburg, North Carolina.

4. Isaac Wilson Sr. was born in 1740 in Augusta Co., Virginia¹ and died on May 18, 1810 in Washington Co., Tennessee¹ at age 70.

General Notes: Isaac's father and ancestors were from Ulster, Antrim Shire, North Ireland. Isaac signed the Watauga Association in Washington County, Tennessee July 5, 1776. On November 6, 1805 he sold all his land in Washington County, Tennessee to his son Isaac Jr. His farm was on the north side of the Nolichucky River. The land consisted of 350 acres according to County Deed Book 9, p. 351. This same land he had aquired from the State of North Carolina in 1782 before Tennessee was a State according to #671 signed and witnessed by Alexander Martin at Fairfield. This information is now in Knoxville, Tennessee in the Knox County Library for the First Families of Tennessee.
