Isaac married Rosanna Wilhoit (Wilhite) in Greene Co., Tennessee. At that time it was not yet Tennessee, but territory of the U.S. South of the River Ohio.
Isaac, Jr. received 350 acres from his father and later added to his land holdings with a Tennessee land grant of 151 acres on the north bank of Nollichucky River, on 6 Oct 1813. On 8, June 1828, he conveyed all of his land, 521 acres, to six of his eight children; all of those except Charles and John. The two oldest, Charles G. and John W., had settled about three years earlier in Monroe and McMinn Counties. Isaac's other children, except Ann Wilson Copp, removed to Monroe and McMinn Counties in 1837.

General Notes: Rosanna's parents lived variously in Culpeper and Madison counties of Virginia and Washington, Grainger and possibly Campbell counties of Tennessee. Rosanna was living with her daughter Ann Copp in Washington Co., Tennessee in the 1850 Census. Presumably, she must have died there.
