Jason entered the United States Marine Corp on March 18, 1991. He was stationed at Camp Pendleton, California; Millington, Tennessee; Pensacola, Florida; and Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii. He attained the rank of Sgt E-5. An honor he received was being named CH-53 Crew Chief. Jason was honorably discharged on March 17, 1995. He served in the Marine Reserves until 2000.
Jason has worked at Taco Bell, Montgomery Ward, and Duber Security in San Jose; Pacific Aerospace, Kapolei, Hawaii; Mahalo Air, Island Air, and Kitty Hawk International in Honolulu, Hawaii. Jason is a professional aircraft mechanic. He completed his degree in professional aeronautical engineering in March 2001. He is presently employed by Air Canada and ATA airlines.

Allison attended a preschool class at the Lutheran Church in Belleville, Illinois. Kindergarten through February 1988 when Allison was in second grade, was at Bell Valley North Elementary School in Belleville, Illinois. Allison started scouting as a Brownie during her second grade year in Belleville, and finished her Brownie years in San Jose, California. The rest of second grade and all of third grade were at Los Paseos Elementary after her family moved to San Jose. Fourth through sixth were at Encinal Elementary in San Jose. In fifth grade Allison started in the band program, playing flute, and continued playing this instrument through the ninth grade. Allison attended Martin Murphy Middle School for grades seven through nine. In the spring of 1995, she earned the Girl Scout Silver Award, which is the highest award a Cadette can earn.
From 1995-98 Allison attended Live Oak High School in Morgan Hill, California. In June 1998 she graduated with honors. While at Live Oak, Allison was on the Superintendent's Honor Roll, scored high honors on the Golden State Exams in algebra and honors in biology. She was a member of the French Club, participated in Oak Grove Baptist Church's youth group, acted in community theater plays, sang with a choral group, and continued in scouting through the twelfth grade, earning the Girl Scout Gold Award, which is the highest award a Senior Girl Scout can receive. In order to receive her Gold Award, she planned an anti-smoking fair. At this fair Brownie and Junior Girl Scouts learned the harmful effects of smoking on their bodies. She wrote a play, brought in a speaker from the American Lung Association, and had students make anti-smoking posters.
After high school graduation, Allison enrolled at California Baptist University in Riverside, California. After only three years at CBU, Allison graduated magna cum laude with a major in liberal studies and a minor in English. Liberal studies is the education major at CBU. She had her teaching credential after three and one-half years at CBU. At CBU Allison was involved with the Student Ministry Team (SMT). This team went to various churches and did comical and serious dramas. She led a student ministry team her second year at CBU. To earn spending money, she worked in an after-school Christian day care program. When she wasn't attending summer school classes, she worked as a recreational leader for the city of San Jose Park and Recreation Department.
After Allison was certified as a teacher, she obtained a teaching job at Taft Elementary School working for the Riverside Unified School District. Taft is a year-round school. From March-May 2000 she taught a third/fourth combo after one of the teachers left. She was already familiar with Taft since her semester of student teaching was done there with first and sixth grade teachers. In 2002 Allison began teaching fifth grade.
Allison married Bryan Mills at the First Baptist Church in Upland, California. They live in Riverside, California. Allison's hobbies are singing, teaching at church, working with children and camping. She also enjoys making scrapbooks.
During the summer of 1997, Allison enjoyed a lengthy road trip to Mississippi with her family, and the return trip to California with her dad and sister. They visited her dad's sister in Oklahoma and other interesting places along the way. Her mom remained in Mississippi to care for Grandma Moore. In November of 1997, Allison flew to Hawaii when her brother, Jason, married. Her family spent several days touring the island.

Bryan attended kindergarten through junior high school at Woodrow Wilson Elementary School in Lake Isabella, California. He attended Kern Valley High School also in Lake Isabella. During the summers while Bryan was in high school, he earned spending money mowing lawns. Some summers he also served as a River Rat (guide). All through high school, he worked in the Kern Valley High School student store.
In October 1995 Bryan entered the United States Air Force. His basic training was at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas. Bryan trained as an F-15 crew chief. He attained the rank of senior airman. Other bases where Bryan was stationed were Tyndall Air Force Base in Palm Beach, Florida, and Kadena Air Force Base in Okinawa, Japan. He received an honorable discharge from the Air Force on December 23, 1996.
From January 1997 until September of that year, Bryan was a Burger King crew member. In September 1997 he enrolled in California Baptist University at Riverside, California. On May 5, 2001, Bryan graduated from CBU with a bachelor of science degree in kinesiology with emphasis on athletic training and exercise science. On May 7, 2001, he began post-graduate work at California Baptist University. On May 4, 2002, Bryan received his master of science degree in sports leadership.
While he was a student at CBU, Bryan had many work experiences. As a freshman he worked in the men's dormitory, in the library and in the maintenance department. As a sophomore he again worked in the library and was a volunteer student athletic trainer. In both his junior and senior years, Bryan was a full-time athletic trainer for women's basketball, women's soccer, women's water polo, and women's volleyball. He was also athletic trainer for men's water polo and men's soccer.
From the fall of 2001 until February 2002, Bryan taught math to junior and senior high school students at Riverside Christian Junior and Senior High School in Riverside, California. On July 1, 2002, Bryan began working as an athletic trainer at Los Osos School in Rancho Cucamonga, California. His duties are: assisting the athletic director in all tasks, providing safety for all athletes, game managing for all sports, overseeing student trainers, guiding coaches in training techniques for practices and games, certifying coaches in first aid and CPR, recognizing and evaluating injuries, rehabilitating injuries, organizing and administrating various sports programs, as well as educating and counseling all parents, coaches and athletes.
Bryan and Allison Rebekah Wilson were married at the First Baptist Church of Upland in Upland, California.
Bryan likes woodcrafts, sports and writing. His hobby is anything concerning computers. He has his own website, www.bryancmills.com. He uses it to provide general information to family and friends. A student can access information about athletic care, important news that is happening in the training room, and articles that can be helpful as long as the student is involved in sports activities. Bryan eventually hopes to upload a couple of things that he has written and start doing seminars on them to get them out to the public. He has written a recreation book, an athletics computer program and is involved in finishing some other incomplete projects.
He has traveled in all the United States except New York, Alaska and Maine. While he was in the Air Force, he visited Japan, China, Vietnam, Germany, USSR, Puerto Rico, Mexico, Saudi Arabia, Australia, New Zealand, Greenland and Canada. He loved the $5.00 flights. Camping is Bryan's favorite type of vacation.
The parental figures in Bryan's life are Deryl and Brenda Lackey, the people who adopted his sisters, Shannon and Kimberly. They already had three girls of their own - Darla, Angie, and Ashley. Bryan has enjoyed having five sisters who are all completely different. Deryl and Brenda have been a major support for Bryan. They pushed him when he thought he couldn't make it. They have watched him grow from a teen to the man of God that he is becoming. Through the ups and downs they knew he would succeed. They don't hesitate to tell him how proud they are of him and how wonderful it has been to watch him grow over the years. They provided him counsel in many areas and even punishment when necessary. Deryl officiated at Bryan and Allison's wedding. Brenda was also a part of the ceremony serving as “mother” of the groom. Bryan enjoys having lunch with them on a regular basis in order for the relationship to continue its growth. When he and Allison become parents, Bryan hopes that Deryl and Brenda will become honorary grandparents for their children.
